CNC Machinist – 5 Axis

Overview: 
I am currently supporting a leading precision engineering organisation, responsible to key contributions within the motorsport and F1 industry, with their search for a CNC Machinist with experience with 5-Axis CNC machines and Heidenhain controls. 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Set up and operate CNC machines for high-precision component production.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Work with advanced materials like carbon fibre to create components for industries such as motorsport.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Perform quality checks to ensure components meet strict specifications and tolerances.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimise machining processes.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Knowing how to do offline programming would be highly valued.

Qualifications:

	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Experience machining motorsport parts (or similar) and working with carbon fibre components is advantageous.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;">Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Offer:
